If a CBD product is hemp-derived and contains less than 0.3% THC, then it is considered legal on a federal level. All products sold on Serenity Store meet these criteria.
However, some states have implemented restrictions on the sale of all or certain CBD products. Click here to see the full list of state-based restrictions on CBD.
There are two different varieties of the Cannabis sativa plant. The first contains a high level of THC and is classified as marijuana. The other type of Cannabis sativa is classified as hemp because it contains less than 0.3% of THC. All CBD products sold on Serenity Store are derived from the hemp variety of Cannabis sativa.
No, CBD will not get you high. Both THC and CBD are cannabinoids found in the hemp plant, but because CBD doesn't have the same psychoactive effects as THC, you don't have to worry about it making you high. All products sold on Serenity Store contain 0.3% or less of THC, which is the legal limit.
The mg level (e.g., 250mg) that you see in all Serenity Store product titles indicates the entire milligram level of CBD per item.
For example, if you are purchasing a bottle of softgels, then you will see a mg level that denotes the total amount of CBD in the bottle. (However, we will usually indicate the mg level per softgel in the product description.)
Similarly, the mg level that you see for tinctures, vape juices, topicals, and so on signifies the entire amount of CBD in the product.
We recommend starting at the lower end of the mg scale (e.g., if the options are 100mg, 200mg, 300mg, then we would recommend the lowest strength). Then, depending on your individual needs, you may want to increase the strength as your tolerance builds.
CBD mg per ml can be worked out by dividing the total amount of CBD by the volume (e.g., 600mg / 30ml = 20mg per ml).

CBD creams are usually made by infusing olive oil or coconut oil with concentrated CBD extracted from hemp plants. CBD creams are generally utilized by applying to specific areas to get a more localized effect. Many CBD creams also include other essential oils and moisturizers to expand their benefits beyond just CBD.
Even if the product claims to be broad-spectrum CBD, CBD isolate, or THC-free, depending on the manufacturer's guidelines, it may not be 100% THC-free.
All products on this site contain 0.3% THC or less. Each product has a Certificate of Analysis (CoA) that documents the specific cannabinoids of the CBD, and you can use the CoA to verify the product's cannabinoid profile.
If you are unsure of how to read a CoA, check out our how-to here.
All products found on this website are third-party tested to ensure quality and safety.

Terpenes are organic compounds that give plants their unique scents. For example, limonene is a terpene found in citrus fruits.
Like any other plant, hemp contains terpenes, but the terpene profile will vary depending on the strain. You'll find terpenes in full-spectrum and broad-spectrum CBD products because they contain a range of cannabinoids. These may be labeled as terpenoids, which are just chemically altered terpenes.
Pure CBD isolate does not usually have terpenes because everything other than CBD has been extracted. However, some companies will infuse CBD isolate with certain terpenes.
